No, from childhood we fail in performing our duty towards our Creator, and towards our neighbour, and we shall certainly be condemned, when we come to give an account of what we have done in the body, if we do not v Lev. ii. 8--10. understand how to lay hold of the mighty deliverance offered us in Jesus Christ: for God seeing man has destroyed himself, took compassion upon us, and sent his only begotten Son into the world to satisfy the laws we have failed to fulfil. 48.
